Maria is a former ESL teacher. Currently, she is an active member of the Annunciation Greek Church where she volunteers as a Sunday school teacher, with the Greek Ladies Aid Association and in St. Basil’s Soup Kitchen. 

She is also a member of the Parish Council, serving as Parish Council President. Maria was born and raised in Newburyport.
