Eve is a lifelong volunteer with an interest in food security and poverty alleviation. She served on the board of directors of Our Neighbors’ Table for six years, including two as chairperson. She also was a member of the board at Rosie’s Place for four years

Other volunteer activity since moving to Boston in 1998 include Habitat for Humanity Boston and Share Our Strength / No Kid Hungry.

Eve grew up in Knoxville, TN and has lived in Newburyport since 2013.
