Please Help Send Kids to Camp

Community Service of Newburyport (CSN) has been supporting Summer Camps for children from low-income families for many years. Over the last few years, we have been expanding the reach of our summer camp program.

As we have emerged from the pandemic, more than 70 children and youth have benefited from this program. Our goal is to provide access enriching experiences for young people who families cannot afford them. We seek to match them to an experience in an area that they find stimulating in the hope that it will open new possibilities to them.

The CSN Board of Directors is very supportive of this enriching program and is engaged in planning and executing fund-raising activities to support and expand its reach. The average cost of these programs is $375 per week and we generally fund two weeks per child. We are hoping this year to expand it to serve up to 40 young people.
